Who I am: I am a father, a husband, an 19 year veteran educator, and a proud REALTOR® of 16 years. I am an Educator serving and helping Educators.
What I do: I am in the business of building people, building families, and building communities all throughout the Atlanta metro area and North Georgia. Over my many years in public education in several different communities, I have had my life touched by countless people. Through my years in real estate, I have sold homes for and to many individuals and families. The common thread that runs through many of them is their hand in the field of education........teachers; administrators; custodians; bus drivers; paraprofessionals; library/media specialists; retirees of the field. It has become an unquestioning element of my life that those who know me through the field of education reach out to me for my advice when thinking about buying or selling a home. These are the people I love; these are the people I serve! Recently, I have redirected the mission of my business to be one of service to the education profession. Hence 'The Educators' Broker'........but not only the classroom teachers; all the great men and women who work in our schools and touch our children's lives daily, as well as their parents, children, and families. Why I do it: Homeownership is an amazing gift!! We are so blessed to live in a nation where we have the opportunity to purchase and own a place for our families to have a heritage. As a general rule, educators and other professionals and employees in the education field do not make exorbitant salaries. This is a fact of which I am personally well-aware! Having purchased more than one house on a very limited budget for myself over the years, I understand the importance of negotiating hard and finding ways to allow my clients to keep as much money in their pocket as possible. I know that a minor difference in out-of-pocket costs or the bottom line may render their dreams impossible. My buyers' and sellers' best interests are always at the forefront of everything I do on their behalf. My goal is to guide educators towards the right resources as well as types and sources of financing to make their dream a reality. In addition to all of these details, I very clearly understand the unique demands of educators' daily job, work calendar, and pay schedule. In short, I am an educator at heart who works hard for educators! Through my experience, I know that educators and education employees operate on a unique timeline based on their school year.
